At a very young age I was driven by fashion, I remember sewing the clothing of my dolls and going with my mom to the tailor and explaining in detail and with drawings what I wanted for my new dress. But shoes have always been my dream. After I pursued my career in a Port wine company in the finance area, I always felt like something was missing.

 

Even though at that time I was not working with shoes, I was always bringing joy to my life with shoes by buying them often. Today I have a huge collection of shoes.

In 2015, the creation of a special shoe collection was a natural evolution of an already established business. I was importing children’s clothing lines from Portugal and Spain. My customers were asking me for special shoes to wear with our clothing. I started designing shoes as a curtesy to my clients. As I started doing this, a new world opened up to me because working with shoes is something very personal and challenging. If you think about it, a shoe is made from several different components coming from different manufacturers and you need to put them together in a chronological way. You need to become enthusiastic!

 

Making children’s shoes is always challenging because a child will never say “my dress is hurting me”, but shoes can hurt if not made properly.

There are several things that matter in terms of the anatomy of a growing foot that are important in holding the weight of a child.

 

A person that designs shoes knows that it is critically important to spend time in the factory with the artisans trying to figure out solutions and mastering the details so that comfort will never be an issue. Working with shoes is really hard, you are giving everything each day, and when you are finally done you think, “what an amazing day!”

 

I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to work with so many amazing people that teach me and support me along the way. Every collection makes you grow and learn. Every time is always different and difficult, but worthy of every single moment that I excel.

 

And this marked the beginning of my new business venture. Since the start, it has been important to me that my shoes reflect exceedingly high standards. My shoes are made with the best quality leathers from world class tanneries and are produced in Spain with the world best craftsmanship.

 

We craft each shoe for the child’s comfort in order to make a correct fit. We care a lot about the comfort of the child.

 

We follow international fashion trends to ensure that shoe colors and designs are up to date and right for the season.
