HOW TO PROPERLY TAKE CARE OUF OUR SHOES AND CLEAN THEM

LEATHER

LEATHER SHOES

Before wearing your new shoes, protect with a waterproofing spray.

 

Clean your shoes after each use with a damp cloth.

Always air dry your shoes and avoid drying them near a heat source like heaters as it can put your shoes at risk and cause the leather to become hard and stiff.

​

It is important to apply a moisturizing cream that will clean and will make the leather more flexible, this maintain and protects the shoe. Spread the product with a clean cloth, let it dry for a few minutes and polish.

 

Do not wash leather shoes in the washing machine.

 

Do not use bleach or any acidic products that can damage the leather and cause a deterioration of the shoe.

 

Store your leather shoes in a dry place.

PATENT

PATENT SHOES

You can use a soft brush to remove dirt.


Clean with a damp cloth.

 

Dry with a soft and dry cloth.

 

After cleaning patent leather shoes, it is recommended to apply a specific moisturizer.

 

Do not leave your shoes near a heat source (such as heaters)

 

Do not put your patent leather shoes in the washing machine.

 

Do not use bleach or any acidic products that can damage the leather and cause a deterioration of the shoe.


Store your patent leather shoes in a dry place.

ANTE, SUEDE AND NOBUCK

ANTE, SUEDE AND NOBUCK SHOES

Brush your shoes with a soft brush or a chamois after each use, this brushing will reactivate the leather and remove dirt.

 

To remove stains, use a special suede eraser.

 

A few times a year, you can brighten the leather on your shoes with a suede cleaning spray.

 

Apply a special protective spray for suede or nubuck all over the shoe. Follow the manufacturer's advice and test it first on a small area. By applying the protector regularly, you can keep the shoe's level of protection constant.

 

Always clean both shoes equally to avoid any color change, always brush the leather in the same direction.

 

Do not use water, bleach or any acidic products that can damage the suede and cause a deterioration of the shoe.

Do not put your suede, nobuck, ante shoes in the washing machine.

GLITTER

GLITTER SHOES

Gently wipe the glitter off the shoe with soft brush to remove dirt.

 

Moisten with a damp cloth.

 

Leave the shoes to dry and add a layer of hairspray only on the glitter part of the shoe. Be careful not to spray on leather or any other material that may leave a remains.

 

Do not put the shoes in the washing machine.

 

Do not use bleach or any acidic products that can damage the leather and cause a deterioration of the shoe or irreversible damage.

 

Do not leave your shoes near a heat source (such as heaters).

VELVET

VELVET AND LINEN SHOES

Brush your shoes with a soft brush after each use, this brushing will reactivate the velvet/linen and remove dirt.

 

Apply a special protective spray all over the shoe. Follow the manufacturer's advice and test it first on a small area. By applying the protector regularly, you can keep the shoe's level of protection constant.

 

Do not use water, bleach or any acidic products that can damage the velvet and cause a deterioration of the shoe.

 

Do not leave your shoes near a heat source (such as heaters).

 

Do not put your velvet shoes in the washing machine.

RUBBER SOLES

RUBBER SOLES

Gently tap the soles together a couple of times to get rid of dirt and dust.

Rub the soles with a dry brush to remove any remaining dirt.

 

Wipe the soles with a damp cloth to remove any residue and dry the soles with a dry cloth.

STORAGE

HOW TO STORE SHOES

Storing your shoes in the proper way will help keep them in excellent condition for many seasons.

 

You should protect your shoes from dust, moisture and heat so they do not lose color or shape while they are stored.

 

Make sure they don't get squeezed. To prevent them from losing their shape, fill your shoes with crushed acid free paper (do not use newspaper ).

 

Storing shoes in their original boxes will help .

 

Storing shoes with dust or dirt can cause material deterioration over time. This is especially bad on shoes made of leather or suede.

 

Shoes are kept in optimal condition when they are not exposed to high or low temperatures , the best place to store shoes is in a cool, dark, moisture-free closet.
